Exhibition specialists Neal Display have a long relationship of creating dramatic stands for exterior lighting manufacturers CU Phosco. This year was no different as their polycarbonate mirror Infinity Room picked up the best in show award at London’s Lux Live exhibition.
The event was being used by CU Phosco to launch a new street lamp, and Neal Display were briefed to create a showpiece stand that would generate a buzz around the product launch.
The design team thought the idea of an infinity room would link with the futuristic look of the new lighting products, and evolved the design to an octagonal shaped room providing multiple reflective angles.
Liaising with the team at Perspex Distribution, it was agreed that 6mm Polycarbonate Mirror would provide a structure with the necessary flat surface and rigidity for the design. Further space-like neon and multi-coloured lighting was added to send the design into another galaxy.
The design was a success with the team picking up the award for Best Stand at the show, as industry magazine Lux Review commented. “The feature was a big draw at the exhibition at ExCeL London, with customers queuing up to experience the boundlessness of the multi-mirrored room. Many shared dramatic images of themselves inside the space on social media.”
Following the outstanding feedback on the design, Neal Display are now offering a modular form of the infinity room that can be adapted for any exhibition area, offering other businesses the opportunity to also create their own wow factor at their next event.
