Cambridgeshire based large format print specialists MacroArt recently completed a large local hoarding project using Alupanel A-Lite. Working for developer Urban & Civic and alongside creative agency Hello Hackenbacker, the hoarding was supporting a 400-acre development in Wintringham, St Neots.
Over 250 metres of high quality printed signage has been installed to date. Despite the size of the job, the perimeter was surveyed, designed, and printed in under two weeks and installed over three days.
The hoarding helps frame the new landscaping at the gateway to the development, and provides a vibrant backdrop to the newly built Wintringham Primary Academy.
Alupanel A-Lite was chosen as the ideal hoarding substrate due to its receptiveness to direct print, intensity of printed colours as well as Alupanel being the only brand of Aluminium Composite manufactured in the UK.
The printed design features highlights of the development including the 2,800 new homes being built, a new district centre offering shops and cafes, gym, nursery, convenience store, and office space for small businesses.
MacroArt’s team pulled out all the stops to deliver over 250 metres of high-quality signage for the site already and are poised for more work as the project grows.
Attention to detail was key on the project with colour-matched screws and anti-graffiti laminates used to complete the installation.
