The Big Brother House is known for its dynamic and eye-catching interior design, making the environment a key element of the show’s identity. For the latest series, the challenge was to enhance the modern and colourful interior with innovative lighting features that would bring a contemporary edge to the space, helped this year with contemporary Perspex® acrylic lightbox additions from Inplas Fabrications.
Perspex® Opal 050 was used to create an illuminated door reveal surrounding the front door of the famous house, through which the winner was revealed. Additional illumination was used around the corridor archways to add depth to the colourful interior designs.
A desire for a touch of glamour was also added to the bathroom and shower room areas of the house. Again the light diffusion qualities of Perspex® Opal 030, 040 and 050 were all called upon by Inplas to produce an array of stylish lightbox zones effortlessly gave a touch of Hollywood style to the bathrooms.
A geometric brickwork design in the shower room was mirrored with bars of light from the Perspex® led lightboxes shooting eye catching shards of light across the wall.
Inplas Fabrications worked closely with the team at Monkey See Scenery (Monkeyseescenery.co.uk) and the Big Brother production team to bring the lighting vision to life.
