Bespoke acrylic specialists Floreeda Fabrications Ltd have once again demonstrated their creative manufacturing skills and eye for design after being awarded a project to create eye catching acrylic airplanes for famous department store Selfridges, made out of both Perspex® Acrylic and Plaskolite Mirror.
With a combination of laser cutting and line bending, the airplanes took shape within their factory in Stockport. Perspex® Fluorescent Acid Green acrylic was used to create the eye-catching displays alongside mannequins both in windows and on major plinths in store. Silver Plaskolite Mirror was used to create a unique ceiling display casting reflections across the shop floor.
The project formed part of Selfridges campaign called ‘Work It!’. As part of their campaign, they have decided to help out the time-poor professional women - and men - by offering complimentary express treatments from 12noon until 3pm every Thursday - all to turn lunch breaks into 'beauty experiences’.
Floreeda continue to produce outstanding acrylic items for retail point of sales and shopfitting projects – more of which can be seen on their website and blog. Visit www.floreeda.com to contact them about your next project.
