At Perspex®, we are committed to minimising any environmental impact from our products and processes. A key component of our long term sustainability goals resides within our materials themselves, many of which are 100% recyclable and manufactured in the UK.
We offer products that reduce the need for single use plastic and offer a range of select materials made entirely out of recycled materials, a popular choice amongst our environmentally conscious customers is our innovative PALIGHT® Re-Nu PVC Foam.
Made using recycled off–cuts of PVC Foam Sheet the end result is a unique, 100% recycled substrate that offers excellent printing quality, making it an environmentally friendly alternative to typical signage materials.
Our range of PVC Foam are all uniquely designed to offer their own specialised properties.

The first step of the manufacturing process is mixing a high quality PVC resin with various foaming agents.
Once mixed, the resulting compound is extruded using heat and pressure which causes expansion. The material then takes the form of a continuous foam sheet.
Finally, the now extruded sheet is cooled rapidly to solidify the cellular structure before being cut and shaped into the desired size and thickness.
Simply put, yes. PVC Foam can be recycled using either mechanical or chemical recycling processes.
PVC Foam’s recyclable properties mean it can be reformed into new materials and products, increasing the life cycle of the product and reducing waste whilst minimising environmental impact.
