Ideal for retail POS and direct print applications, Marpet-FS Eco PETg maintains all the benefits of standard PETg including the triple advantages of being suitable for digital printing, fabrication and thermoforming at relatively low temperatures without pre-drying.
Manufactured by Brett Martin in Northern Ireland, 50% of their factory production energy is from sustainable sources including their own wind turbine and solar farm so it ticks plenty of environmental boxes for fabricators and end users. Brett Martin was an early adopter of on-site renewable energy with the installation of a wind turbine in 2013. This was followed in 2018 by a joint venture to install a solar farm feeding directly into its production site.
Brett Martin believes in minimising waste and reusing whatever production waste is unavoidably generated. Marpet-FS Eco, which contains at least 50% PETg regrind, minimises the amount of PETg going into landfill. At the end of life, Marpet is also 100% recyclable.
Marpet-FS Eco PETg is currently available from Perspex Distribution in 2mm and 3mm thicknesses and 3050 x 2050mm sheet size.
